1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using Colortron (“Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this Application.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Colortron for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license allows you to:

• Download and install Colortron on your personal iOS device(s)
• Use Colortron in accordance with these terms
• Access and use all free and purchased features
• Create and save your color palettes and data

You may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, or transfer the Application
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Application
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
• Use the Application for commercial purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Application or its systems
• Use the Application in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content in Colortron, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, color databases, and color names, are the property of Colortron or its content suppliers and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

However, the color codes you capture or create (HEX, RGB, HSL values) are your own and you may use them freely for any purpose.

4. Third-Party Content and Libraries

Colortron includes color libraries and databases from various sources:

• HTML Named Colors Database (public domain)
• Material Design Colors (licensed under Apache 2.0)
• Tailwind CSS Colors (licensed under MIT)
• Bootstrap Colors (licensed under MIT)
• CSS Color Specifications (W3C)
• Other open-source color resources

Usage of these colors is subject to their respective licenses. You are free to use any captured or generated color codes for commercial purposes.

5. Future Enhancements

Colortron is provided free of charge with all core features included. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features or enhancements in the future. Any such features will be clearly disclosed before they are made available, and the core functionality of the app will remain free.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

Colortron is provided “AS IS” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Application will meet your requirements
• The Application will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• Results obtained from using the Application will be accurate

Color detection results depend on device hardware, camera quality, and lighting conditions. Results may vary based on your device and environment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colortron and its creators are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, files, or information
• Interruption of service or business
• Errors in color accuracy or color recommendations
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Application

8. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify Colortron at any time. We may also terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the Application.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Application or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Colortron after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
